This page sets out the ownership, intellectual property rights, and conditions of use associated with the INTERGOV governance reference framework, including its name, symbols, identifiers, and related materials.
INTERGOV is published as a non-sovereign international governance reference framework. It does not constitute a government, does not claim treaty-based authority, and does not exercise jurisdiction, enforcement, or compulsory power.
Use of the Emblem by Third Parties
The INTERGOV website, framework documentation, and associated materials are owned and administered by the INTERGOV Initiative, an international governance reference framework operated and maintained by IDAZ09 PTY LTD.
IDAZ09 PTY LTD is responsible for:
- administrative operation of the website
- maintenance of published documentation
- protection of intellectual property and identifiers
- enforcement of use restrictions to prevent misrepresentation
No ownership statement on this site shall be interpreted as asserting the existence of a sovereign international governance or public authority.
Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise stated, all content published on this website — including text, structure, layout, graphics, symbols, and documentation — is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Names, Marks, and Identifiers
The following names, marks, and identifiers are used in connection with the INTERGOV governance reference framework:

- Associated logos, emblems, and visual identifiers
These identifiers are trademarks of IDAZ09 PTY LTD and are used solely in connection with the INTERGOV framework.
They do not represent:
- a sovereign State
- an intergovernmental organisation
- a treaty body
- a public authority
- a governmental institution
Emblems, Flags, and Symbols
Any emblem, flag, or symbolic representation displayed on this website is an administrative and illustrative identifier of the INTERGOV framework.
Such symbols:
- are not national or sovereign emblems
- do not confer legal status, authority, or recognition
- must not be used to imply official governmental power
Their use is strictly controlled to prevent misrepresentation.
Prohibited Uses
The following uses are strictly prohibited without prior written authorisation:
- presenting INTERGOV or its identifiers as a sovereign government or authority
- implying official State endorsement or legal recognition
- issuing documents, credentials, or identifiers purporting to represent INTERGOV
- using symbols or names in a misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent manner
- representing oneself as an officer, agent, or representative of a government
Unauthorised or misleading use may result in enforcement action under applicable law.
Permitted Reference Use
Subject to attribution and compliance with published conditions, limited use of INTERGOV materials may be permitted for:

- comparative governance study

- educational purposes
Such use must not imply authority, endorsement, or legal effect.
Relationship to States and Organisations
INTERGOV:
- does not supersede State sovereignty

Enforcement of Rights
IDAZ09 PTY LTD reserves the right to:
