Types of institutions and bodies

The institutional structure of the International Government is exceptional. Discover the department responsible for decision-making within the International Government and its respective functions.

In terms of administration, further international departments and bodies carry out specific legal functions and three interinstitutional services that support the institutions.

These establishments have specific roles – from developing International laws and policy-making to implementing policies and working on a diverse range of specialist areas, such as digital, financial, defence, and the environment, ensuring a comprehensive and inclusive approach to international governance.

Three central decision-making institutions lead the International administration. These institutions collectively provide the International Government with policy direction and play different roles in the law-making process:

  • International Crimes and Offences Authority
  • Council of International Government
  • International Parliament

The work is complemented by the collaboration of various esteemed institutions and bodies, includes:

  • International Bank Centre
  • International Court of Tribunal
  • International Intelligence Bureau of Investigation

Institutions

The powers, responsibilities, and procedures of international institutions are drafted in the founding treaties of the international community.

The draft 'International Constitution and Treaties Act', developed by this website's creator, aims to streamline the adoption and implementation of the International Government without requiring any amendments to current legislation in the countries.

The three primary international institutions, each with its own unique role, collaborate closely to establish the international agenda and to lead and synchronise international legislative efforts.

The International Government typically does not create laws but instead focuses on negotiating amendments to the International Constitution and Treaties Act. Its main responsibility lies in shaping the course of international politics. Generally, the International Crimes and Offences Authority, the International Government, and the International Parliament are instrumental in formulating policies and legislation that have a universal application across the International.

Bodies

In addition to the institutions, there are a number of bodies that play specialised roles in helping the International to fulfil its tasks. Some bodies advise the institutions (the International Economic and Social Committee, the International Committee of the Regions); others ensure that the institutions comply with International rules and procedures (the International Ombudsman, the International Data Decency Supervisor). The International External Action Service, a reliable external policy body, provides crucial support to the international community on matters of foreign affairs, ensuring a secure and informed handling of these important issues.

Decentralised agencies

Decentralised agencies play a significant role in implementing international policies and fostering collaboration between international government and national governments. They leverage technical and specialised knowledge from international institutions and national authorities to address a wide range of global issues impacting the daily lives of over 8 billion people, such as food security, healthcare, justice, transportation safety, substance abuse, and environmental protection.
